- A fast hit, Kate and Jim McMullan's latest picture book, I'm Fast, was selected by Amazon as a Best Book of the Month for Kids for January 2012.
- The New York Times has selected I Must Have Bobo by Eileen and Marc Rosenthal as one of their Notable Books of 2011. This is great news, congratulations Marc and Eileen!
- Pips take the gold two years in a row - Edel Rodriquez has won the 2011 Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators for his painting "Krampus." Congratulations Edel! (Ross MacDonald was the big winner for 2010!)
- The small screen, the stage, and the bookshelf?! Doreen Cronin and Harry Bliss's Diary series is headed for TV, being developed by HIT Entertainment, the stage, as a musical produced by the Oregon Children's Theatre and back to the bookshelf as all new installments are created under the ever popular I CAN READ program!
